Sending hugs and kisses

Having really enjoyed knitting the catnip bunny, I’d been keen to knit some more little toys. I was given some Mochimochi books for my birthday (Knitting Mochimochi and Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi both by Anna Hrachovec), and got chance to try some of the patterns out recently for a birthday. The recipient lives in USA, so I thought I’d try making an aeroplane, and some hugs and kisses for it to transport.

They were all knitted with DK yarn on double pointed needles, and relatively quick to knit (though finishing always seems to take me ages – threading in the tails, adding the eyes and other features etc.).

So here’s the aeroplane:

And the hugs and kisses:

They’re both available as project pages on my Ravelry – see Sending hugs and kisses and Transporting the hugs and kisses.
